WNBC September 1, 2003:

"Can you send somebody over to the Woolworth Building to check the roof?" a Port Authority police officer asked. "There's a possible ... they said it was ... we just had a second explosion, possibly a missile from the roof of the Woolworth Building."

"The Woolworth Building?" replied a police operator.

"Yeah, on ... on Broadway," the officer said.

Transcripts created from tapes of Port Authority emergency calls and radio transmissions illustrate the utter disorientation caused by the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history.

"It's a fire bomb," one caller told authorities.

"A helicopter crash," said a second man calling the Port Authority police.

"Possible aircraft explosion," offered a PA police officer in another phone call.

The transcripts were released Thursday evening by the Port Authority, which owned the trade center, just two weeks before the second anniversary of the attack. The New York Times went to court to win their release.

"The Woolworth Building! The Woolworth Building! They're shooting at the Trade Center from the Woolworth Building!" a police officer screams. ... "There's fucking explosions going off on Vesey street!" another officer yells.


Tom Modern looked into the biography of Richard "Bo" Dietl, who runs the Woolworth Building for Beau Dietl & Associates. He found out, that Dietl has advised the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia on issues of personal and physical site security and supervised security services provided for high-ranking officials from the Peoples Republic of China.

Now add those reports together with the picture showing some sort of apparent bomb damage, the bright flash, and now this video found on Terrorize.dk, only confirming once again, that something horrific happened at the top of the WW building. Watch until you see the wisp of what appears to be a vapor trail coming from directly above the flash.

Hmmm, maybe the reinsurance companies should just be glad Larry "Pull It" Silverstein decided not to try to collect on this "third separate attack."

I can't believe that so few people know about the Woolworth building. I read all the transcripts at the Memory Hole and very few if any people reported over the airwaves that they physically saw a 757 hit the second tower. There were several calls that mentioned missiles and the Woolworth bldg.
